ABOUT
Yingming Chen 陳英鳴 is a London-based artist from Guangdong, China. Born in 1997, he earned a BA in Fine Arts from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2020, followed by a two-year postgraduate study in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art.
His work explores how power shapes cognition through materialised language. By interrogating how writing manifests power, he challenges what is imposed and what is genuinely chosen. Using diverse materials, techniques, and imagery that reflect contemporary society, he invites viewers to reconsider their daily lives and surroundings.
